Counselors
Donald “Donnie” Stiles, LCSW
Donnie is a former Staff Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps who served on active duty for eight years and conducted three consecutive tours to Iraq. Upon completion of active duty, Donnie decided to “chase the money” and became a DoD contractor and conducted two more tours to Iraq and one tour to Afghanistan wherein he learned a valuable life lesson; being deployed so dang much sucks and chasing the money is a terrible idea and doesn’t align with his values.
Donnie decided he needed a career that would fully align with his personal philosophy that a life of service is a life well-lived. Donnie used his VA benefits to get his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of California Los Angeles and his Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in adult mental health and wellness and a sub-concentration in military social work.
Donnie believes in a humanistic, person-centered framework for therapy, and specializes in CBT, solution-focused therapy, and is a trauma-informed therapist who believes the therapeutic alliance is crucial for healing. Never below you, never above you, always beside you.
